Water Company boss is childish - E. T. Mensah

Former Works and Housing Minister ET Mensah has hit back at the Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company accusing him of being childish and irresponsible.

Kweku Botwe accused his former boss of fabricating stories about him with the intention of getting him out of office.

In an interview with Myjoyonline.com’s Jerry Mordy, the MD for the water company cited a report which he said was put together by Mr Mensah with the aim to embarrass and indict him.

He said many of the allegations made against him in the report were not only fabricated but calculated at tarnishing his reputation.

Describing the report as a piece of “nonsense” Kweku Botwe challenged the former Minister to substantiate the claims made against him.

But ET Mensah has responded describing his former subordinate as being "childish".

He told Joy News’ Evans Mensah that the report was a compilation of four other reports all of which indicted Mr Botwe.

He said some of the reports were even completed before he was appointed as Water Minister and found it ridiculous how he could be accused of falsifying reports to indict Mr Botwe.

He challenged Mr Botwe to use the appropriate channels to clear his name and stop the media war against him.

“We have systems, I am not Water company,” he said, charging the Water company boss to take advantage of systems and clear.
