Report accurately or be thrown out! - Judge warns journalists

pic 22320508 The Judge presiding over the case involving businessman Alfred Woyome has threatened to throw out journalists who publish inaccurate reports on the ongoing case.

Justice Ajet-Nassam issued the stern warning on Friday when hearing on the GHC51 million Cedi judgment debt case resumed.

This was after several complaints from Mr. Woyome, the State Attorney and the judge himself.

They specifically cited the Ghanaian Times, Enquirer and the Daily Guide newspapers and Peace FM.

Meanwhile, when hearing began in the case today, the 6th prosecution witness Mrs. Leslie Dodoo, former Legal Director of Public Procurement Authority at the Finance Ministry seemed to be giving contradicting statement on an earlier position.

She earlier claimed that but for media reports, she had never met Mr. Alfred Woyome. But after cross examination, she admitted meeting Mr. Woyome during her 12-year stay at the ministry.
