Global Media Alliance launches first-ever Santa Magical Grotto for kids and families

Global Media Alliance in partnership with Ohema Ohene, a Ghanaian fashion brand and Airtel Ghana has launched the first-ever Santa’s Magical Grotto in Ghana.

The Food court in the Accra Mall, the location of the magical grotto, has been transformed into a ‘wonderland’ with thousands of lights, an ice igloo and twinkling snow scenes for a truly magical family experience this festive season.

The Airtel Santa Grotto will give visitors a true experience of a ‘white’ Christmas brought to life in Ghana.

According to Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, Managing Director of Global Media Alliance, “Christmas is one of the significant events the world observes each and every year. As a media company, we are very excited about this partnership with Ohema Ohene, and the kind sponsorship from Airtel Ghana which will bring a different kind of excitement and thrill to kids and families this season.

“Some of these kids see these wonderful Christmas moments in movies thus, bringing them the experience right here in Ghana during the season is something we are happy about.”

He added that apart from the ice igloo and play pen for the kids, visitors can participate in fun activities and great services like gift wrapping, pictures taking, face painting and lego games for kids among many other interesting activities.

Director of Ohema Ohene, Ms. Abenaa Pokuaa said the entry fee is GH20 per a person for one attraction, and urged parents and the general public to visit the magical grotto and experience real Christmas with their families and friends.

Sponsored by Airtel Ghana and Stanbic Bank, Ghanaian celebrities will be making appearances and add to the exciting moments with families and kids in the Magical Grotto.

The Airtel Santa Grotto is open from now till December 27.
