Have hope in Better Ghana Agenda - MP

Mr Benjamin Kpodo, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho-Central on Friday encouraged his constituents to have hope in government’s “Better Ghana Agenda” and “ignore all detractors”.
Mr Kpodo who was interacting with his constituents at Matse near Ho, said, “the signs are good. Better things are coming. We will deliver.”
The interaction is part of a two-day “meet the people” session for the MP to inform the constituents about activities during the last Parliamentary session and his vision for the constituency.
Mr Kpodo said his influence in Parliament had put Ho on the “map of Parliament” resulting in a lot of projects coming to the constituency.
“Because of how active I am in Parliament, my people call me Ho Central and not by my name, and this has brought a lot of projects to our area,” he said.
Mr Kpodo said he had secured funding for a number of education and health projects, some of which started in 2007.
He said prominent among the projects is an additional classroom block for Ho Nurses Training College, scheduled to start this year.
Mr Kpodo said his vision for the constituency is to construct community toilets and boreholes to promote sanitation.
Mr Delali Kasu, Assemblyman for Klefe commended the MP for his foresight.
Mr Divine Feg Afedo, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice Chairman for the constituency called for tolerance, love and peace among the people for accelerated development.
