Nungua chiefs donate to Biakoye Association

A bull and a cheque for GH¢2000 have been presented to the Biakoye Association at Nungua by the Nungua Traditional Council.

The presentation was made when the Nungua Mantse (paramount chief), King Odaifio Welentsi III, held a meeting with his divisional chiefs to reflect on their achievements for 2013 and plans for the new year.

The Nungua mantse praised both citizens and others for the peace in the area.

The Secretary of the Biakoye Association, Mr Essel, thanked the chief and elders for their kindness, and pledged the association’s support towards the development of Nungua.

In another development, King Odaifio has announced the construction of a hospital complex by the council and some foreign partners on a seven-acre land acquired by the council. Concerning education, he said the Nungua Senior High School would be expanded and property owners on the earmarked area relocated.
