GhanaWeb Entertainment Week in Review

This week started off with embittered self-acclaimed best comedy actor in Ghana, Agya Koo, saying his name was in the Guinness Book of World Records for acting more movies than anyone despite being missing in action lately. His problem was with the fact that his competition, multiple award winning and fast growing comedy actor, Lil Win, has taken over the spotlight.
Lil Win on the other hand has been busy with his latest movie, Big Boy Weezy, which details his real life experience with an old girlfriend he dated for four years called Naomi. Apparently, she cheated on him with a movie director she met through him despite introducing her to his parents as the woman he wanted to marry.
As Kwabena Kwabena was making it big on US Radio with his song, Adult Musik, Samini who featured on the song displayed a picture of his all-black fleet of cars. Obarima Sidney gives up on being political in his lyrics as he can’t stand the hatred and bad publicity while Atumpan defends his kind of songs which are tagged sexual.
Yvonne Nelson is in the news again but another false report of Iyanya, her controversial ex-boyfriend featuring in her new movie. The report didn’t go down well with her as she fights the writer on twitter while singer and her friend, Chase, fights for her.
For the time being, what is true is that Koo Ntakra, winner of MTN Hitmaker Season II is joining Shatta Wale at Bullhaus Entertainment. Would he surprise us?
Mzbel would get her closure as the leader of a gang that raped and robbed her some years ago dies.
Sadly, Leila Dzansi was hospitalized with severe headache after the premier of her latest movie, Northern Affair. Hey! Did Joselyn Dumas deserve the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award at the Ghana Movie Awards 2013?
Nana Aba Anamoah is scared of marriage and thinks it’s not for everyone but Nana Ama McBrown is set to marry Maxwell, her lover, in February.
Life gets sweeter for popular highlife guitarist, composer, arranger and teacher Ebo Taylor as he turns 78 last Tuesday and finally, entries are being sought for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2014.
