Valentine messages from Ghanaians and Celebrities

In commemorating the day dubbed; ‘love day’, we hit the streets of Accra to receive good will and love messages from Ghanaians to their loved ones. We shortlisted the very best four for readers delight. Who knows, you can pick a few lines for your loved ones.
Black Stars defender Jerry Akaminko and local movie star Kweku Manu also had something for their loyal fans.
Kofi to Ama Asibi: My sister, my friend and my mother, since meeting you, I have had a new definition for love. Your friendship does not only make me aspire to be the best human possible but also improve on my human attributes till I’m the closest I can be to perfection. My love you deserve nothing but the best on this day. I don’t know how many people, who care about you today will cease caring tomorrow, I don’t know how many people who love you today will cease loving you tomorrow. I can only guarantee that my love and care for you will always be and never fade. My bony shoulder, I give you to rest on like a pillow, my tiny lap, I avail as a couch, lean on me, but hold me as well so that the wind does not blow my slim body away… HAPPY VALS DAY ASIBI

Kweku Manu to his fans: I’m love you, I’m kiss you, in fact, I c**p you. Ghanafo monyinaa mo ye mi taste. It’s 14th February, and we have the opportunity to show people how much we love them. My first wish will therefore go to you my special friends (my fans). You have been faithful and have been in no small way getting me this far. I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you. Jerry Akaminko to Ghanaians: Happy Val’s day good people of Ghana. From my base in Eskisehir, Turkey, I can only reminisce the days I celebrated Val’s day in Ghana with fond memories. I know the celebration has actually been taken to another level. Seven years ago we were giving cards, now it starts from a Champaign or chocolate, to iPod, iPhone all the way to iPad, right until you realize your wallet is empty, and scream; ipaid! It’s all good since love remains the center of it. Would have loved to give every Ghanaian a special gift but I have decided to reserve it for June if given the chance. As for footballers, we show our love on the pitch. Our heart is grass, our love is ball. HAPPY HAPPY VAL’S DAY.

Clement to Esther: My love, my queen, you are the only thing that makes valentine relevant to me. I love you with every fiber in me and can only assure you of my unconditional love to you. Do you know why my personal annual calendar begins on 15th February, ends on 13th February and has 728 days? I love you every day until 13th. February, making 364 days of pure love, but on 14th February, I calculate all the love from 15th February to 13th February and give you all in one pack-14th February. I can say with all certainty that you are loved today than anyone on this planet. Wanted to spray my white car red for you today but my sprayer’s machines developed a fault and the others can’t meet the deadline. With or without the red car, no woman is your co equal. I didn’t say tweeeeaaaaaa!
