The Raquel Cupid Party that was!

The atmosphere at the +233 jazz bar and grill last Friday night was filled with love when songstress, Raquel treated patrons to an array of love themed songs to provide the right mood for the valentine celebration on the night.
On a day when many lovers were prepared to show their affection to their partners, the Raquel's Cupid party definitely served the purpose for that charming occasion.
Although the show started on a rather low note, the Patch Bay Band quickly raised the mood and soon the party got going.
The audience, which was made up of both the old and young, appeared to have warmed up appropriately when Raquel came on stage at 10:30pm.
Clad in a fitting red and black long dress, the Lovidovi singer endeared herself to patrons when she performed classics of Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. Delight was all over the place.
Some patrons took to the dancing floor when she performed her rendition of Cupid. At this point, it seemed the old couples had taken over the dancing much to the admiration of the younger ones.
The younger ones however had their turn when Raquel and Sarkodie performed their hit single Sweetie. The Raquel Cupid party which is in its fourth year was sponsored by Citi FM, Fiesta condoms, Red Bull energy drink and +233.
