Let's resource NPP for victory 2016 - Kwabena Agyepong

Aspiring General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has charged party members to contribute their quota for the development of the party.

He said the party needs well-resourced campaign machinery for resounding victory in the 2016 general elections.

“Our party is not like a generator which is switched on in an election year and turned off after elections. A serious political party must at all times run actively and purposely like a human being,” he added.

Mr. Agyepong was addressing the constituency executives and some party supporters at the residence of the late Theresa Amerley Tagoe, as part of his campaign tour of the Greater Accra region.

He re-emphasized the need for party resources to be adequately channeled to the constituencies “to build a strong party, capable of winning any election in Ghana.

The former Press Secretary in the erstwhile John Kufuor administration assured delegates of his readiness to work effectively to secure a resounding victory for the NPP in 2016.

“If I become General Secretary, the party will be at work in all the 275 constituencies simultaneously. That is how an election can be won”.

Kwabena Agyepong called on party faithful to remain resolute and steadfast and deliver the party with capable and dedicated executives with pure motives of ensuring a resounding victory for the NPP in 2016.

So far, the Kwabena for General Secretary Campaign team has visited the Ablekuma Central, North, West and Okai-Koi Central and North constituencies in the Greater Accra region.
