Agyepong’s accident won’t affect NPP congress – Okudzeto

The acting Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Perry Okudzeto, has said the party will still conduct its national delegates’ conference despite the fact that an aspirant to the position of General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has been involved in a serious accident.

This, he said, was because, Mr Agyepong condition was not too critical to compel the party to postpone its congress.

” I do not think Kwabena Agyepong’s condition could go far as far as either postponing or stopping the congress. We are glad that the accident was not too fatal,” he said.

Mr. Agyepong was involved in a fatal accident on the Accra-Nsawam road.

His vehicle is reported to have somersaulted three times.
