Helicopter disaster: Four confirmed dead

Four workers of Luk Oil have been confirmed dead when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed into waters around the West Cape Three Points in the Western Region, Thursday.
The accident happened 20 nautical miles from the coast of Takoradi, Joy News' Western Region correspondent Kweku Owusu Peprah reported.
Three others were rescued with one person yet to be accounted for. The identities of the deceased persons are yet to be made public.
It is not clear yet the cause of the crash even though Myjoyonline.com sources attribute it to poor weather conditions.
Reports say the workers were going to work on their rig when the accident occurred.
A source at the Naval Airbase said the helicopter is owned by International Aircraft Service and was contracted by Luk Oil.
The aircraft is started operations only yesterday and was said to be making a trip to Jack Ryan rig to change crew offshore when the accident occurred.
Another aircraft reportedly saw the incident and sent an SOS message. A supply vessel quickly came to assist in the rescue mission.
