Fan Milk supports Otumfuo’s anniversary

Fan milk limited has donated GH¢15,000 to support the 15th anniversary of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, which was held recently.

The presentation was made by a management delegation led by the Human Resource and Public Relations Manager of the company, Mr Jonathan Ocansey, during a visit to the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi to congratulate the Asantehene on his anniversary.

Mr Ocansey commended Otumfuo for his inspirational leadership which, he said, had helped to improve the image of chieftaincy in the country and wished him long life.

He said the donation was the company’s “widow’s mite” in recognition of the “numerous national programmes and projects” being undertaken by the Asantehene.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu commended the company for its continued concern for issues of national importance, especially in its collaboration with the Ghana National Scholarship Beneficiaries Association (GNASBA) on its Schools Environmental Sanitation Education campaigns to empower the youth to become more knowledgeable to protect and secure the environment and other natural resources.

Present at the presentation were the Technical Manager, Mr Charles Smith, and the Quality Assurance Manager, Mrs Angela Nelson, both of Fan Milk Limited, and the National Chairman for GNASBA, Mr Baffour Akwasi Oppong.
