Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) has appointed Mr Eric Sewornu Adadevoh as the company’s Human Resource (HR) Director.

It has also appointed Mr Nick Cook as its Commercial Director.

A statement issued by the company said “having worked with the company for over 20 years, Mr Sewornu has enormous experience across the supply and HR chain. Mr Adadevoh brings to bear a wealth of experience, as well as knowledge of the business and a passion for people.”

The statement also added that Mr Sewornu had developed a strong working relationship with the entire leadership of GGBL over the years.

He was the former HR Director of the Serengeti Breweries in Tanzania, HR Business Partner – Demand, and Talent & OE Manager.

According to the statement, Mr Cook joined Diageo from Nestle UK where he held several positions in sales and customer marketing after starting as a sales representative on their graduate scheme.

As the commercial director in charge of Spirits and Customer Marketing, the statement said Mr Cook would focus on the company’s spirits agenda, which is a critical enabler in delivering the F17 growth ambition.

“In his most recent role as the Customer Marketing Director for Africa, Mr Cook step-changed the function into a strong commercial planning organisation while developing and executing new proven growth drivers for the Africa business,” it said.
