In Loving Memory of Emma Hammond (Adwoa Agyeibea)

Four years ago on the 8th of March, you were called by your maker into eternal rest. Your departure from this earth left us in sorrow and pain. We are however consoled by the fact that you are in a better place, resting peacefully. We are grateful to God for having blessed us with a loving and remarkable mother and mentor like you. You lived and taught us to be the very best! Even though we miss your loving presence and guidance, we believe you are constantly watching over us, guiding and guarding us daily in all we do.

Mummy, continue to rest in perfect peace! Your legacy perpetually lives on!

Fondly remembered by your children - George, Matilda, Nana Ama (Elizabeth) & Charles, your grandchildren, your in-laws, and your siblings.

TRIBUTE TO KEN BIMPEH (aka Papa KENTO)

TRIBUTE TO KEN KOFI BIMPEH (aka Papa KENTO)

Now the labourer's task is over. Now the battle day is past. Now upon the farther shore lands the voyager at last. Father, in thy gracious keeping leave me now thy servant sleeping( song by John Ellerton).

For we know that all things work for good for those who love the Lord. On 15th November 2012, we met in your house in Accra played games and did normal boys - boys moves together with Emma, Kimono and Cyril. We then move on to Ho on the 16th where we all sat down with boys (like Kpemi, K-Gee, Avo, Jay Lucie, Eskimo, Benito, Sakabutu, Dziwornu, Gameli, Slow-K, Wise, just to mention a few) at Mirage and Famacy. It was a great day even though we could not get the goat we wanted to buy the next day for pepper soup.
You left Ho on 18th November wishing us Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Most of us could not understand the motive behind your wishes but I did on the 27th December when the good Lord called you to His bosom.
A soldier as you are, you did not decline to the call but rather left us behind to continue your good work with Him. Kento, we know you are smiling right now and rejoicing with the good Lord but you have left a void which cannot be filled.
We can shed tears that you are gone, or we can smile because you have lived. We can close our eyes and pray that you will come back, or we can open our eyes and see all you have left. Our heart can be empty because we cannot see you, or we can be full of the love we shared. We can turn our back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or we can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. So we can remember you only that you are gone, or we can cherish your memory and let it live on. We can cry and close our minds, be empty and turn our back. Or we can do what you would want: smile, open our eyes, love and go on...
When someone we love dies we never quite get over it. We just slowly learn how to go on without them but always keeping them tucked safely in our hearts.
You will be greatly missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
We may not understand now but we know that God's ways are not our ways.
May perpetual light shine down on you, Kento!!!
BABA NA WOE..hede nyuiiiii, Kento papa Kento.
