All my girlfriends stopped calling me honey in my broke state – Former drug lord

A former Ghanaian Journalist with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and ex-drug baron, Paa Joe Odonkor has stated that all his girlfriends stopped giving romantic accolades like honey, babe, sweetheart, sugar when he became broke and his empire came down crushing.

According to him, when his money was in abundance, his numerous girlfriends were calling him honey, darling, babe but when he became a pauper, they called him pepper because his pocket had literally developed holes.

The once fabulously rich man explained that people he assisted to travel including women he sponsored all despised him anytime he tries to get closer to them.

Paa Joe Odonkor said his girlfriends and friends only pretended to love him because of his money but vanished into the thin air when he became broke.

He stressed that none of his girlfriends including the one he bought the most expensive diamond ring for refused to check up on him during his 26-years of cocaine sniffing.

In a video interview with SVTV Africa sighted by MyNewsGh.com, he narrated, ‘As for the women when you have deeper pockets with lots of dollars they call you honey, when you get broke and develop holes in your pocket they make themselves conveniently unavailable, they vanished, my friends also vanished. They will call you names, honey, babe, darling, but the day you will go broke, they will call you pepper because the money/magic is gone, they were there just because of your pockets’.

Mr Donkor who used to travel around the world including London, USA, Switzerland with women on business class flights stressed that his girlfriends vanished when he run out of money.

The ex-dug baron underscored that some of his girlfriends expressed shock about his physique whenever he meets them.

He said he has been with the best women talk of women with guitar shapes and kissable lips but all these flashy lifestyle didn’t end him anywhere and has now turned a wretched old man who struggles before he eats.

According to him, he wore the best suits by Italian Tailors sold in England matched with quality shoes and Rolex watch.

‘I have seen women, when we talk about women, I have seen women with seductive ‘guitar shapes’ and kissable lips, I have moved with the best women, I have taken women to Switzerland, I don’t want to mention names. I have slept at a hotel where I paid 500 dollars a day. I have taken women to Venice, is a city on water, it’s a paradise on earth, because I wanted to impress the women but at the end of the day they all vanished, leaving me lonely,’ he recounted.

The old ex-drug addict said he became a slave to drugs advising the youth to desist from using drugs.
