Ladies and Gentlemen,
Distinguished Guests,
Energized Members of the NPP,
Fellow Youth of the NPP and TESCON Members,
Kukruduuu! Kukruduuu! Kukruduuu! Eeeshi!!!
What an electrifying sight it is to see all of us gathered here today, united for the one purpose of breaking the 8-year jinx! As the Communication Officer of the NPP UK Bristol Chapter and the Vice President of TESCON UK, I am excited to be a critical part of the amazing feat we are about to achieve this year. We are here to make history at the Maiden Manchester Youth and TESCON Conference, united under a powerful mission: to ignite a digital momentum that will propel us to victory in 2024!
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated and committed youth leaders Salam Mustapha National Youth Organizer, the silent calm and collected Branch Youth Organizer Ike Price-Asante, Jeffery Dasebre Oppong Adomako Manchester Youth Organizer, my colleague TESCON executives with our leader and President Kelvin Ofori Gyimah, tireless members, and especially the spirited fellow young people and students whose energy fuels our movement. Your presence here signifies more than commitment; it signals a burning desire to shape the future of Ghana with passion and to further strengthen our great party! After all, we are the future of the NPP, and it is up to us to decide what that future will look like. I will endeavour to keep the speech as brief and touch on some few things to urge us on to achieve victory.
Fellow kukrudites and TESCONites, our theme, "Digital Momentum: Igniting Youth-Led Innovation for Victory 2024," is not just a call to action; it’s a rallying cry for every one of us to embrace our role as digital pioneers and agents of change. In this fast-paced digital era, we stand at the forefront of a revolution that will secure an unyielding victory for the NPP. Breaking the 8-year cycle is our mission, and failure is not an option!
In this year’s election, we are all one and the same. We all have to have our hands on deck, whether it being grassroots mobilization or it being online campaigning; we have to play our roles effectively. For those of us who are experts at online engagements, our mission is clear, we need to dominate the online space with the truth about our party’s phenomenal achievements and the unmatched leadership of H. E. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh. Every tweet, every post, every video you share is a beacon of light cutting through the fog of misinformation. Be bold, be vocal, and let the world see the NPP's relentless progress!
Let's flood social media with the triumphs of our Free Senior High School policy, which has opened doors for over 1.2 million students, and our transformative digital initiatives that are modernizing every corner of Ghana. Your digital presence is a powerful force; we need to harness it to inspire, educate, and mobilize support for our candidates.
For those of us who can join in on the grassroots mobilisation, our voices must resonate in every town, campus, and community. Knock on doors, engage in meaningful conversations, and be vocal. Show your peers that their vote is a vote for progress, innovation, and a brighter future with the NPP. Mobilize your friends, rally your communities, and let them feel the urgency of this election. Each of us has a role to play, and together, we are an unstoppable force of change.
Under the inspiring leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia the NPP has set a blazing trail of digital transformation and socio-economic advancement. We have revolutionized service delivery with the National Identification System, the e-Justice system, and the digitization of crucial services such as the Ghana Immigration Service. Our digital initiatives are not mere upgrades; they are the backbone of a modern, transparent government that works efficiently for its people.
Our achievements in education are nothing short of groundbreaking. The Free Senior High School policy is empowering the youth of Ghana, providing them with unprecedented opportunities for learning and growth. We have invested in educational infrastructure, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education. This is not just a policy; it is a movement towards a knowledgeable, skilled, and empowered generation.
Moreover, our economic policies have spurred significant growth and stability. From GDP growth to the One District One Factory initiative, we have ignited a spark of entrepreneurship and industrialization across the nation, creating jobs and fostering economic self-reliance. Our achievements in trade balance, fiscal deficit reduction, and inflation control highlight our commitment to economic resilience and prosperity.
We are not just building a party; we are building a nation ready to take on the challenges of the future!
Kukrudu!
Colleagues, with H. E. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, we have the perfect pair leading us into 2024. Their vision, expertise, and dedication are the cornerstones of our strategy for progress. Their leadership is our guiding light, the BOLD Solutions and Vision they will proffer will be our roadmap, and their victory our collective triumph! Clearly, the NDC have nothing to say or offer, and so we need not even mention them. As he said, he is a dead goat, so we don't even have to bother. The path remains forward.
As we march towards 2024, let’s rally behind our candidates with energy, enthusiasm, and an undying spirit. Their leadership will drive Ghana to new heights of innovation and prosperity.
In closing, let me remind you: we are the future of Ghana and the NPP! This election is ours to win!! Our strength lies in our unity, our innovation, and our relentless drive for progress. We are not just participants in this journey; we are the catalysts of change, the architects of victory. This is our moment to shine, our time to lead, and our chance to make history.
Together, we will break the 8-year cycle and build a future of unparalleled progress for Ghana!
