Some members of the Black Stars squad have paid a courtesy visit to the National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Dr.Osman Nuhu Sharubutu.
The team visited his eminence at his residence at Fadama on Friday morning to interact and seek spiritual intercession ahead of their departure to Dubai for pre-AFCON 2019 camping.
The four-time winners are seeking to end the country’s 37-year trophy drought at the continental showpiece in Egypt which begins next month.
Ghana captain Andre Ayew, Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew, Chelsea defender Abdul Baba Rahman, Kotoko striker Abdul Fatawu Safiu, Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan and Kassim Nuhu were all part of a Muslim contingent that was present.
Head Coach Kwesi Appiah and his assistant Ibrahim Tanko also accompanied the team.
