Richmond Boakye-Yiadom well-taken strike proved the difference as Red Star Belgrade edged Macva Sabac in the Serbian Cup.
Boakye-Yiadom made in the 66 minute to put Crvena Zvezda through after failing to convert a penalty kick seven minutes before that.
He turned and shot an excellent ball from the centre of the box to find the net.
Macva employed a defensive tactic making it difficult for Crvena to find openings in the first half, whiles managing to keep their opponents bay.
Boakye-Yiadom lasted the entire duration of the match occasionally linking up play with teammate Marko Gobeljic from wide. The result sends Crvena to the quater finals of the Serbian Cup.
The 26-year-old has now been involved in three goals in the last four games, scoring on his return to fitness against Proleter and providing the assist in the last league match against Javor.
