Black Stars coach, Charles Akonnor, has set his sights on beating South Africa in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The Bafana Bafanas will host the Black Stars on matchday 2 of the qualifiers at the FNB stadium on Monday, September 6, 2021.
Ghana is on top of Group G after beating Ethiopia in the opener, with South Africa and Zimbabwe having a point each due to their stalemate last Friday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Akonnor has said that they have learnt from the mistake they did in their game against Ethiopia and are hoping to pick the three points at stake against South Africa,
“It’s a match we’ve taken it very seriously when we played Ethiopia, there were certain things that we needed to do and we’ve learnt from that thing and I believe that come tomorrow we will improve.”
“We are looking forward to have a good match and looking forward to have the three points, that’s all,” he said.
