Head coach of Cameroon national team, Hugo Broos, is not in the mood to go on a penalty shoot-out with Ghana in tonight’s semi-final game.

The Indomitable Lions reached the semi-final stage of the competition by edging out hot favourites, Senegal, on penalties.

Speaking in an interview, the coach said, “I hope we do not to go through the penalty shoot-out anymore.

“It’s very stressful. I remember that, in every match, we created so many scoring chances but missed them.

“It is up to us to convert the chances that will come our way and avoid penalty shoot out to determine who gets to the finals.” He stated.

Coach Broos said, he is also worried about the record of Ghana in the competition as the West Africans have been in the semi-finals on six consecutive occasions.

“This is a team that has remained in the semi-finals and finals of the competition in the last six editions and you cannot underrate them.

“It will be a tough game because they will come with a different style, which will be very different from what Senegal presented.

“We have watched the Ghanaian team over and over again. We have devised the right strategy to outwit them and we hope to work on that, when tomorrow”. He stated.
