This Friday, 4:30pm at the TV3 Studio B will witness the finals of the much talked about competition for Junior High Students, Junior Sharks.
The challenge, which is an offshoot of the main high school challenge for high school students – The Sharks would see two top schools, Ghana Christian International High, Dodowa and DPS International, Tema vie for the coveted trophy.
The two schools have been outstanding throughout the preliminary stages. While Christian High beat Victory Baptist School, Kumasi for a place in the final; DPS International saw off Manna International School, Kumasi to book their place in the final. Manna International School took 3rd place.
It is hard to predict which school will emerge champions of the Junior Sharks. Whichever school wins, it is apparent that both teams have shown dexterity in Literacy, Numeracy, STEM and Social Literacy throughout the competition. Watch the finals of the Junior Sharks on TV3 this Friday at 4.30pm.
The winners will take home cash prize, laptops, science and multimedia sets for laboratory. Both schools will represent Ghana at the International Junior Science Olympiad to be held in Doha, Qatar come this December.
