Hearts of Oak defender Christopher Bonney has responded to accusations about his age after being expelled from the Black Meteors camp.
Bonney has been sent home by the technical team of the Ghana’s U-23 team following widespread report over age cheating.
Documents indicate the player is within the age category after being born on November 22, 1998, his age on the transfer market differs. His date of birth of on the transfer market is July 4, 1992.
However, following deliberation from the technical bench of the team, the former Asante Kotoko penalty specialist has been sent home to avoid any possible sanction from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The player took to Twitter to comment on the trending issue — insisting he is clean of any age fraud.

Ghana will host the Algeria U23 side on September 5th for the first leg tie and travel to Algiers on 9th September for the reverse league.
The winner of the two-legged fixture will gain one of the slots to the tournament to be staged in Egypt.
