Four months after the death of Dancehall Artiste, Ebony Reigns, reports indicate that the road that led to the sudden demise of the female artiste has still not been attended to properly since the accident occurred in February 2018.
According to a report from the Ghana Police Service, Ebony, and two others who were with her in a Jeep, lost their lives after their car collided with an oncoming VIP bus, when their driver tried to avoid a heap of sand in their lane.
The police said the sand was meant for the maintenance of the road. Few days after the accident, the heap of sand was cleared and the supposed pothole covered.
A journalist with Kumasi based Angel FM, Cardinal, on Thursday disclosed to Zylofon FM that due to the poor maintenance, the same road fixed after Ebony’s death has developed big gullies claiming innocent lives.
According to the reporter, the road has somehow been ignored by the authorities because it is not part of government priorities.

He added that it was recently reported that there was another accident that occurred at the same spot two weeks ago.
There were several reports on injured people that were involved in the recent accident but luckily, no one died.
