The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has made a significant contribution to the Central Regional Office of the NDC in Cape Coast by presenting logistics worth millions of Ghana Cedis. This strategic move aims to bolster the campaign efforts for the upcoming December 7 election.
The items include 25 brand new motorbikes with helmets, hundreds of branded NDC T-shirts, bags of rice, and more, all aimed at enhancing the campaign’s effectiveness. These motorbikes will be distributed to party communicators across the constituencies in the region.
Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang emphasized that this initiative reflects her commitment as the running mate to prioritize the welfare of party members and all Ghanaians. She urged party faithful to work diligently to bring the party back to power.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed concern over the mass exodus of Ghana’s youth leaving the country in search of better opportunities abroad. She urged Ghanaians to rally behind the NDC’s flagbearer, John Mahama, to effectively implement his visionary 24-hour economy plan, which promises to create more jobs for the youth and improve lives.
She highlighted the Women’s Development Bank, a project aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. According to her, the bank will cater to small-scale businesswomen, such as hawkers or anyone who does not depend on huge capital to run their business, nurturing and growing women-owned, women-led businesses.
The Vice Chair of the Central Regional Office of the NDC, Mr. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, expressed gratitude for the generous gesture, encouraging all party members and well-meaning Ghanaians to vote massively for the NDC in the upcoming general election.
Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang is calling on citizens to voice their concerns and vote out the challenges that have plagued the country’s economy. She urges Ghanaians to vote overwhelmingly for the NDC on December 7 to enable John Mahama to restore the economy.
