Asante Kotoko goalkeepers' trainer Joe Baah is envisaging a dazzling future for Felix Annan in the wake of his superlative performance in their 2-1 win over ZESCO United in the CAF Confederation Cup on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old pulled off some great saves at the Baba Yara Stadium including saving Jesse Jackson's penalty in the first half which denied the Zambians the equaliser.
The former WAFA custodian also tipped Rahim Osmanu's header over the frame for a corner kick in the 88th minute for the Porcupine Warriors to hold onto their slim lead.
His performance has led to calls for his inclusion in Ghana’s senior national team squad in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
The Porcupine Warriors goalkeepers' gaffer has joined the masses in singing the same chorus and says Annan's attention to details will in a long way help him become a world beater.
‘The future looks bright. Though we don’t know what the future holds, if he keeps doing what’s doing, he can be Black Stars first choice goalkeeper," Baah stated on Happy FM.
"He is one goalkeeper who challenges himself. He is always watching videos of the best goalkeepers in abroad and tries to emulate them. I pray that one day he achieves his dream of becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the world."
