The trending news in Ghana presently is Shatta Wale’s BET snub, despite the fact he is arguably the biggest artiste at the moment.
After the mockery hurled at the Dancehall artiste for his constant failure to get recognition internationally at the expense of his main adversary Stonebwoy, and his subsequent rant on Twitter where he literally compared the BET to his BECE certificate, one Cynthia Mireku, Chief Executive Officer for Baby Cash Records, has pledged to augment the musician’s brand to suit international status.
Cynthia, popularly called Baby cash posited that Shatta Wale is doing extremely well locally but has a weak base on the international stage which is the more reason why her office wants to take over the management of the artiste.
Baby cash, who is reportedly based in Belgium spoke with Classfmonline and said:
“Although he is doing well on the local scene, I don’t think the Shatta brand is all that strong on the international stage and so we will like to take over the management of that brand to make it a stronger one. Our coming on board will propel the artiste to international glory.”
