GFA top man Eddie Doku 'takes money' to push player into Black Stars B
Anas Aremeyaw Anas continues to tease Ghanaians ahead of the premiere of his exposé on sports corruption, titled Number 12 on Wednesday.
The ace investigative journalist has dropped a teaser of the expose in which Chairman of the Black Stars B Eddie Doku has been caught on tape taking a bribe to influence game time for Hearts of Oak star Patrick Razak during the WAFU Cup.
In the tape, Mr Doku took an unspecified amount of money from an undercover reporter from Tiger Eye PI to ensure Patrick Razak got more minutes on the pitch for the Black Stars B.
Mr Doku takes the money, unwraps it and splits the cash into the left, right and back pockets of his trousers. He then hands the wrapping, which he has now crumpled, back to the undercover reporter.
Patrick Razak did feature in the WAFU tournament last year, which Ghana won. Indeed, Razak was one of the team's standout players.
But it has now been revealed that Doku benefited financially from the player’s participation in the matches.
Apart from his work with the Black Stars B, Doku works as the chairman of the appointments committee of the Ghana Football Association.
