Aduana Stars head coach, Yusif Abubakar has scathingly labelled Hearts of Oak as one of the “cheapest sides” in the ongoing Ghana Premier League after their 2-0 victory over the Phobians on Sunday.
At the Nana Agyemang Badu Park yesterday, Aduana Stars displayed one of their best performance in the league when they outplayed Accra Hearts of Oak and defeated them 2-0 courtesy first half goals by Derrick Sasraku and Daniel Darkwah.
“We played a high pressing game to unsettle Hearts of Oak as early as possible to tell everybody that, when we started winning, people were saying that we have met cheap sides that is why we are winning, so if Hearts of Oak have come to add to the cheapest group, we are lucky,” Yusif said.
The Phobians will hope to return to winning ways when they host Accra Great Olympics in week six of the Ghana Premier league on Sunday.
