Ghana’s Head Coach of the Senior National Team, the Black Stars, James Kwesi Appiah made sure his side sailed through to the next stage of the competition after a comfortable 2-0 victorious victory over the Wild Dogs of Guinea-Bissau at the Suez Stadium in the ongoing 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
It was a difficult first half battle for the four time Africa champions the Black Stars as they struggled to contain the wild Dogs with their thunder boats strikes spooning the cross bar twice before the Gabonese referee called for recess.
Striker Jordan Ayew silenced the Wild Dogs with a 2nd half second strike which broke the virginity of a rather compacted match up to set the Ghanaian dominated Suez Stadium Ablaze.
The best substitution of the decade saw Afriyie Acquah replacing Kwabena Owusu in the 66th minute into the game,a tactical decision which gifted the puzzle board to coach Baciro Candé of Guinea-Bissau to put his bench strength in limbo as Thomas Partey landed on Baba Rahman cross to seal the maximum victory for the Black Stars.
