Ghana’s Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has asked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to “drop the hypocrisy” – in reference to claims by the main opposition party that the Akufo-Addo government has burdened Ghanaians with untold hardship since 2017.
The NDC featured prominently in Tuesday’s ‘kum y3n pr3ko’ demonstration organised by the Coalition For Social Justice, which called out the Akufo-Addo government for making life difficult for Ghanaians.
In a response to the demonstrators a day after the march, Dr Bawumia, who is also the Head of Economic Management Team of the current administration, posted on his Facebook page, a compilation of some promises fulfilled by the government vis-à-vis what the failures of the Mahama government did.
He, therefore, asked the NDC to “#Dropthehyprocisy”.
