I blame NAM 1 for Joyce Blessing’s marriage woes – Afia Schwarzenegger

Controversial TV presenter and comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger has blamed Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1, CEO of now defunct gold dealership company Menzgold and Zylofon Media, for the problems Joyce Blessing is facing in her marriage.

According to Afia Schwarzenegger, in a video on her YouTube page, monitored by GhanaWeb, Joyce Blessing was doing fine in her marriage, and had even testified on various platforms how her husband (Dave Joy) picked her from the ‘gutter’ and made her who she is now.

She said before Nam 1, Joyce Blessing was churning out hit songs as well but immediately she associated with Nam 1, things started falling apart for her and other musicians who associated with hm.

"In all this I blame Nam 1, that guy is evil, he is cursed, there is nothing in this world that that guy touched and it prospered. Everybody that he associated with their lives have never been the same. Look at George Quaye, look at Shatta Wale and Michy, they were taking ‘bullets’ for each other, and the moment he came into their lives their union hit the rocks.

"Joyce Blessing was doing well, look at what his association with her has done, now her marriage is ruined, even the house you gave them, you didn’t finish paying for it, now that they are divorced, what will they do with the house?” she said on her show.

Rumours were rife on social media a few weeks ago of the alleged divorce between Joyce Blessing and her manager husband, Dave Joy. Sources had told GhanaWeb that it was Dave Joy who had asked for the divorce.

Videos showing Joyce Blessing in an altercation with her sister in law also went viral, adding fuel to the alleged divorce. In an audio circulating on social media purported to be Dave Joy, Joyce blessing is said to have returned the drinks the family brought to marry her back to her husband’s family.

The 'I Swerve' crooner has not made any official statements since the issues started circulating on social media.
