Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP], Nana Obiri Boahene says he is careless if Ghana’s former Electoral Commissioner, Madam Charlotte Osei was appointed to supervise United State of America’s [USA] election or to even replace UK’s Prime Minster, Theresa May.

According to him, irrespective of Charlotte Osei’s position and contributions to other country’s elections, “she is still not a good material in Ghana.”

“I don’t care where she goes,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Tuesday, May 29, 2019.

President Nana Akufo-Addo removed then Electoral Commissioner, Charlotte Osei and her two deputies from office for “misbehaviour and incompetence.”

The removal was on the recommendation of a committee set up by the Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo to investigate alleged acts of corruption, misconduct and misbehaviour by the three commissioners.

The two other commissioners are Amadu Sulley and Ms Georgina Opoku Amankwaa.

She was recently appointed by UN as an International Election Commissioner to Afghanistan.

Afghanistan is billed to hold its Presidential elections in September 2019.

Madam Osei is part of international advisors expected to support the work of Afghanistan’s electoral management bodies.
