I don't regret showing murdered Ahmed’s face on TV - Ken Agyapong
Outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, says he has no regret for the comments he made leading to the death of Ahmed Hussein-Suale, an investigator with Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Thursday, the MP wondered why he would mastermind the killing of a person who is irrelevant in his life.
“I don’t regret making any comment on Ahmed and showing his face. What I said was that if he comes to my premises, they should beat him and so if he has been killed, why would they accuse me of killing him,” he asked.
Ahmed Hussein-Suale, an investigative journalist and team member of the Tiger Eye PI was last night assassinated by two unidentified gunmen who were riding on a motorbike at Madina while he was driving home.
The two fled after shooting Ahmed at close range, twice in the chest and once in the neck, killing him instantly.
The controversial MP said he will go to every length to ensure that he distances himself from the death he believes Anas is responsible for.
Responding to concerns that he needs to be invited by the police considering circumstances that might have led to the killing of the Tiger Eye member.
The legislator expressed his preparedness to meet with the police because his hands are clean.
