Management of Fantana, Blown, has admitted their signee went on stage wearing a sanitary pad, a wardrobe malfunction they have apologized for.
The "Girls Hate on Girls" musician has been criticized by social media users for publicly showing off her panty liner to fans who stormed the Fantasy Dome, October 19, 2019, for Shatta Wale's Reign Concert.
The critics questioned why she didn’t wear any underpants knowing very well her dress was overly revealing.
However, responding to the blunder in a release copied to www.Ghanaweb.com, Fantana said she's a woman and will never let menstruation stop her from performing her duties as a musician.
"Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I am not afraid of menstruating.
Yes, my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. Menstruation is not a shame, and I urge all young women to take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do," the statement read.
