Hiplife artiste Patapaa is not just a lover of music but loves football as he is a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko but also revealed why he no longer supports English Premier League side, Chelsea.
The "One Corner" hitmaker in an interview with Pulse Ghana disclosed that he is a fan of local football and support Kotoko even though he also supported Chelsea because Micheal Essien played there.
“I’m a Kotoko fan. Yeah, Kotoko because I’m that local,"
“I supported Chelsea some time back because of Michael Essien.
“We played a team (possibly Barcelona) and our keeper had two goals through his legs, What’s up with this team? I’m here already losing awards and you want me to lose as a Chelsea fan too? Why, do you want me to die early?
“Please, I’m a Kotoko fan.
Patapaa's breakthrough song 'One Corner' was released last year and it dominated the airwaves for several months, but he was beaten to Fancy Gadam' 'Totally Cheat' for the Most Popular Song of the Year award at the VGMA.
