Jean Mensa awarded as 'Best Head of Covered Entity' for MDAs category at IAA awards

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana was on Friday 15th September 2023 awarded with the Best Head of Covered Entity Award-MDAs category for the 2022/2023 Auditing Year.

This award was given to the Chairperson in recognition of her timely implementation of audit recommendations and support of internal audit activities which has undoubtedly enhanced the internal control systems at the Electoral Commission.

This award was presented to her by the Internal Audit Agency at the Awards Ceremony held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.

The Audit Agency praised the Chairperson for continuously ensuring that the Internal Audit Unit was adequately resourced to enable it deliver on its mandate in an objective and independent manner devoid of intimidation.
