Once upon a time in the vibrant landscapes of Akyem Ntronang in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Kwabena Boakye Asante, affectionately known as K.B. Asante, began his journey. Born into a family of cocoa farmers and traders, his roots grounded him in the values of hard work and resilience.

As he grew up in the serene surroundings of Teshie Praso, a farming community in Asante Akyem South of the Ashanti Region, little did K.B. Asante know that his path would lead him to remarkable achievements in both business and public service.

Education became a cornerstone of his journey, marked by a Master's degree in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) India, and Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. His thirst for knowledge also led him to a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). K.B. further honed his skills with a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Koforidua Polytechnic, all while embracing the challenges of adolescence as a business student at Nkwatia Senior High School (NKWASCO).

Armed with this educational arsenal, K.B. embarked on a professional odyssey spanning over 21 years. His diverse experiences covered Finance, Administration, Corporate Affairs, Communications, Sales Marketing, Distributions, Management, Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, Transport, and Logistics.

K.B. Asante's narrative weaves through notable roles, such as Director of Communication/Head of Corporate Affairs and Information Technology at the Middle Belt Development Authority (MBDA) since 2019. Before this, he carved a legacy as the Senior Sales Manager for Olam Ghana Ltd, where his excellence earned him the titles of Best Sales Manager and Outstanding Contributor to Ghana Rice Development.

His global footprint extended to the United States, where he assumed the role of Communications and Corporate Manager/Online Marketing and Sales Director for the Ramaco Group Incorporated in 2016. K.B. became a licensed realtor in the United States, showcasing his adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit.

In the realm of entrepreneurship, K.B. Asante emerged as the Managing Director of BASIK Investment Ltd, a distinguished FMCG distribution company focusing on rice and sugar. Additionally, he took the helm as the Board Chairman of MD-ELBA LTD, overseeing the production of portable drinking water with outlets in Accra and Juaso in the Ashanti Region.

However, amidst the dynamic world of business and leadership, K.B. Asante remains anchored in his faith. A devout Christian and firm believer in the gospel, he finds strength and inspiration in his spiritual journey.
