Key suspect in Ahmed Suale’s murder on remand – Police
The Police administration has revealed that it has interrogated some 13 suspects in connection with the murder of a journalist with TigerEye PI, Ahmed Hussein Suale.
The Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, Maame Tiwaah Addo Danquah said one key suspects is currently in police custody.
She, however, did not give details on who the suspect was.
The CID boss revealed that other suspects including the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong and Anas Aremeyaw Anas have been interrogated over the murder.
Some reports had suggested that the suspect in custody was spotted at the crime scene before the act was committed and went into hiding after the only to resurface last week.
The Brong Ahafo Regional Vice Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye DC recently alleged on Net 2 TV that the suspect in police custody is the one who pulled the trigger on Ahmed Suale.
But the allegations were not confirmed or denied by the CID boss.
