Inter Milan left-back, Kwadwo Asamoah, would miss his team’s return leg round 16 Europa league game against Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
The Ghana international picked up a yellow card in the 24th minute during their first leg at the Commerzbank-Arena making him ineligible to play in the second leg.
Asamoah played full throttle of the game for the Nerazzurri's and was disappointed about his ineligibility for the reverse fixtures although he expressed confidence in his team’s ability to deliver.
He however described the game as tough one but stated that they had good first half while they struggled to possess the ball in the second half.
"It was a tough match, It wasn't easy to play in this atmosphere tonight," Asamoah said, as reported by his club's official website.
"We had good chances in the first half, while they were more attacking in the second half and we struggled to keep possession.
"0-0 is a good result that allows us to fight for qualification at home.
"Unfortunately, I'll be suspended for the return leg but I have full faith in my teammates."
