Kweku Baako held the gadget that interviewed Akufo-Addo on #12 – Ken Agyapong alleges
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has descended on Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, for allegedly betraying President Akufo-Addo.
Mr Agyapong also labelled Mr Baako a hypocrite for allowing investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, to interview the President on the bribery allegations raised against him by Kwesi Nyantakyi in the Number 12 exposé.
According to him, it was Mr Baako who instigated Anas to interview President Akufo-Addo in order to trap the president.
“Kweku Baako has betrayed Akufo-Addo. He took Akufo-Addo for granted because of his relationship with him and asked Anas to interview him when he knew Akufo-Addo is clean. Kweku Baako is neither honest nor is he a saint.” Ken Agyapong alleged on Adom TV’s Morning show, Badwam Tuesday.
“He actually went with Anas to interview the president. I can categorically state that he was the one who held the gadget to record Akufo-Addo. I wonder what his motive was,” he further alleged.
Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has dared the politician to go ahead and expose him if indeed he has evidence that he (Baako) is corrupt.
Kweku’s challenge to Mr. Agyapong comes after the latter threatened to unmask him and his protege, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and some other senior journalists who acquired properties through dubious means.
Kweku Baako who described himself as "fearless" and someone who has long purged fear from his system, has since challenged Ken Agyapong to name the journalists involved.
