National Women’s Organizer of the NDC, Dr Hanna Bissiw Louisa is confident about Ghanaians celebrating the country’s 64 years Anniversary under the umbrella government as John Dramani Mahama will be elected President come 2020 general elections.

Her optimism, she said, is hinged on the fact that the previous John Mahama government championed Ghana’s Founder, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s cause of developing the country infrastructure wise, a huge investment aimed at empowering citizens and solving employment challenges.

“The success story of Ghana under Health, Education, Agriculture, Housing, Roads, etc over the years give us hope as an independent country. Dr Kwame Nkrumah once said investing in a country through infrastructure is not a waste of money but a physical guarantee of being a independent nation. I salute all leaders especially HE JDM regime for providing sound infrastructure for the development of our country. This investment in infrastructure which was aimed at providing permanent jobs for our citizenry,” Dr. Bisiw said in her Independence Day message.

She said, citizens have a responsibility to make Ghana proud and one meaningful way of doing so is to join forces to kick out the “corrupt” NPP-Akufo-Addo administration and bring back the “people-centred” NDC government.

“As citizens, it behooves on us to make our country proud in our endeavors irrespective of our political affiliation. This could only be meaningful if all joined forces to kick away the confused Nana Addo government whose only pride is reckless corruption,” the NDC Women’s Organiser urged.

DR HANNA BISSIW LOUISA,NDC NATIONAL WOMEN’S ORGANIZER CELEBRATES THE 62ND INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH GHANAIANS

Many started this journey of independence. Many have lost their lives. Many suffered brutality from our colonial masters in many forms yet they never gave up until we had total freedom from our colonial masters. The struggle was/is a remarkable one hence a celebration on this day 6th March annually to honour the heroes who laid their lives for this country

We couldn’t have resisted the oppressors rule if there wasn’t love, selflessness, dedication, commitment, loyalty and passion for mother Ghana. Partisan politics were nowhere near the struggle.

The success story of Ghana under Health, Education, Agriculture, Housing, Roads, etc over the years give us hope as an independent country. Dr Kwame Nkrumah once said investing in a country through infrastructure is not a waste of money but a physical guarantee of being a independent nation. I salute all leaders especially HE JDM regime for providing sound infrastructure for the development of our country. This investment in infrastructure which was aimed at providing permanent jobs for our citizenry.

As citizens, it behoves on us to make our country proud in our endeavors irrespective of our political affiliation. This could only be meaningful if all joined forces to kick away the confused Nana Addo government whose only pride is reckless corruption.

Today I join many well-wishers across the globe and citizens of our beloved country as we celebrate our 62nd Independence Day.

I wish you all the best and God bless our homeland Ghana. It’s my hope and belief that two years from today, Ghanaian would have the opportunity to celebrate the independence day celebration with the people-centered government under HE JDM

Signed
