Lionel Messi embarrassed me during one of our meetings- Mubarak Wakaso

Former Las Palmas and Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso says Lionel Messi embarrassed him in one of their meetings and Christian Atsu teases him with the highlight every morning.

The Ghanaian played a number of years in the Spanish Premier La Liga where he met a number of fantastic players including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

He revealed how the Argentine embarrassed him during one of their encounters in an interview with Angel TV.

"First time I faced Messi was in my Villarreal days,"

"I faced Messi one-on-one recently; The [2018/19] season before this one. He embarrassed me with a dribble so bad that Christian Atsu keeps on sending me the videos till this day."
