Highlife musician, Rex Omar has joined the long list of celebrities to endorse a presidential candidate ahead of the crucial December 7 elections.
According to Omar, President John Dramani Mahama deserves a second term to complete his better Ghana agenda.
Omar, who also endorsed President Mahama in 2012, said based on what the president has done so far, it is only fair that the National Democratic Congress presidential candidate is given another chance to transform the country.
Speaking on Starr Drive Thursday, the ‘Abiba’ hitmaker told host Giovanni Caleb that “based on what I have seen with my eyes I think that Ghanaians must give president Mahama a second term to finish what he is doing.
“I endorsed him four years ago and based on what I have seen I think he must be given another chance.”
The executive member of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) added “I will endorse him any day, every time...when honourable men shut up, dishonourable people rule...and I think that Mahama deserves a second term.”
The man referred to as Ghana’s Michael Jackson also named VVIP, Bisa Kdei, Kyekyeku, Sarkodie and Okyeame Kwame as his top five artistes in Ghana.
