Mahama receives congratulatory call from Bawumia following his historic win in 2024 elections

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has received a congratulatory call from Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia following his victory in the 2024 presidential election.

Mahama shared the news on his X page on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

The post read, "I have, this morning, received a congratulatory call from my brother Dr. @MBawumia following my emphatic victory in Saturday’s election.

Dr. Bawumia has conceded defeat and thanked Ghanaians for their support noting that he would offer incredible support to the new government during the transition period.
