Mahama suggesting Obinim Stickers to NPP not wrong – Adongo
Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo says there is nothing wrong with former President Mahama urging the incumbent New Patriotic Party to look to ‘Obinim Stickers’ for redemption.
The former President had called on the President, Nana Addo Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government to fall on the magical “Obinim’s sticker”, a sticker said to be doing miracles for people, to cure their “super incompetence”.
“Indeed the President and his government is proving to be super incompetent, it is so bad, I have been watching social and I have seen something going, they call it the Obinim sticker and indeed, the President and his government needs an Obinim sticker if really it works…,” the former President said.
But speaking on Asempa FM’s flagship programmem, “Ekosii Sen” on Monday, Mr Adongo said there was no wrong in suggesting spiritual stickers to the NPP party if it can aid them check their incompetence in governance.
According to him, President Nana Addo hasn’t achieved many of the fanciful promises he made to Ghanaians hence he cannot fathom why the bigwigs in the party would be upset with President Mahama’s statement.
“If Obinim has spiritual stickers and Mahama is suggesting him to help with his powers, what is wrong with it?. What is wrong if the stickers would help the NPP party? If the sticker is helping the sick and doing great wonders, why not? If the sticker is not good, why is Obinim not arrested? What is the mistake in suggesting the sticker to NPP party”, he queried.
