Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has revealed that he models his game on that of Spanish international Andres Iniesta, calling the former Barcelona midfielder ‘his football idol’
Ashmeiru who disclosed being a big fan of Barcelona revealed he always watch the Vissel Kobe midfielder before he step out to play a football match.
“My favorite idol is Iniesta, he is someone I always watch before a game. I think I’m trying to see improvement. I try to learn a lot from him. I’m confident I will get there” He told footballmadeinghana.com
The Ghana Under-23 star has featured for three different clubs on loan since he joined Red Bull Salzburg.
After a year at Austria Lustenau, he was sent out an another expedition at Wolfsberger before being sent to his highest club destination St Gallen where exhibited his quality by scoring 4 goals in 34 games.
He has since returned to the Austrian Club and look set to feature in the UEFA Champions League game against Genk on Tuesday night.
