Forensic experts who were brought into the country to help unravel the fires which ravaged major markets have finished their preliminary investigations into the fires.
It worked alongside personnel from the Fire Service and National Security.
Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Elis Robinson Oko, has told Citi News the team has since left the country to conduct further investigations into their findings.
“For now, they have finished with the interim work, but I am not privy to whatever they have, but they need to validate it so that when an expert checks what they have done, the expert will also attain the same results,” he stated.
Mr. Oko further stated, “We are, therefore, going to give it to another group of experts to test their samples; if they attain the same results, then it becomes more scientific for the consumption of the public.”
“I am sure it will be ready within two weeks,” he added.
