Former Hearts of Oak ace Mohammed Polo has told coach Frank Nuttal to walk away from the club even if the three-member committee constituted to investigate his allegation proves him not guilty amid the club's decision to suspend him for breach of their code of conduct.

The Scottish gaffer has been reported to be the main reason for the departure of Thomas Abbey, Vincent Atingah, Kwame Kizito, Leonard Tawiah from the club.

The 48-year-old former Gor Mahia coach has also been alleged to have advised some of the players to leave their agents to sign for NM Football Consultancy owned by his fellow countryman Neil Murray.

“It’s problematic. What has happened has tarnished his image especially with his job," says Polo on Onua FM.

“I don’t know how a foreign coach will want to damage his image and the image of his club."

“Coach Frank Elliot Nuttal should not accept to come to join the team, even if he is found not guilty. The mere fact that there is such a huge allegation against him is dumbfounding."

“Whether the allegation is true or false, the mere fact you are suspended tarnishes your image. This is different from sack. Sacking is normal with coaches, even Kenechi [Yatsuhashi] was sacked."

A three-member committee chaired by Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe with Ivy Heward-Mills – a former High Court judge – and Frank Nelson as members is expected to submit its findings to the board by Friday.
