Mubarak Wakaso played brilliantly as Deportivo Alaves recorded a narrow 1-0 win against Levante in their La Liga opener on Sunday.
The Ghanaian international excelled in midfield and lasted the entire duration of the game.
He kept it neat and tidy with his incisive passing in the middle of the pitch with his tenacious tackling which helped his side regain and recycle possession throughout the match.
The 29 year old was rumoured to be transferred by Alaves ahead of the new season but all looks set for him to continue his season in the La Liga with the Blue and Whites.
