NPP supporters angry over false accusations against Atwima Mponua MP

Supporters of New Patriotic Party in the Atwima Mponua Constituency of the Ashanti Region are angry with a certain Augustina Asantewaa who is going round with some NDC goons campaigning to contest their hardworking and seating MP, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah on the ticket of their party (NPP).

They mentioned one Raphael Baffour who defected to NDC as the one leading the dirty acts against their MP.

Speaking to some party supporters in the constituency on a purported tape going rounds that the party Supporters are demonstrating against the MP, they condemned it and expressed their anger at the lady who according to them is not known in the party and never contributed to its growth as the person behind the fabricated tape. No wonder she is using the NDC bootlickers to create unnecessary tension in the constituency.

They are therefore asking the party officers both regional and national to call Augustina Asantewaa to order. They warned that they would not sit aloof to allow anyone or a group to disturb the unity of the party and to undermine their industrious MP.

An elder of the party in the constituency expressed his disgust at the so called a contender.

He praised the MP for his leadership qualities and the numerous projects and programmes he has been providing for the constituents. He mentioned school structures, lavatory facilities, streetlights, maintenance of roads, scholarships, provision of computers to the many schools in the constituency hospital equipment and many other productive initiatives.

The Supporters of the party appealed to the national and regional officials to restrain the said lady to stop her injurious motives against the party and the Hon MP, since this can create unnecessary tension in the party and the constituency.

The writer is amazed with the numerous projects scattered in the constituency.

The clarion call in the constituency is Asiamah is still the man.
